~ Effects of hair loss
The effects of hair loss are wide ranging depending on the individual. Some men simply accept the fact that their hairline is receding, but for some hair loss is a sensitive issue.

Studies show that hereditary hair loss can affect self-confidence and self esteem, particularly if it starts at a relatively young age.

Men who are losing their hair usually go through similar reactions: firstly denial that it is happening, followed by panic at the negative connotations of baldness (old, unmanly, unsexy) and anger having what seems like an affliction. Some men become depressed and avoid occasions that will particularly expose their hair loss.

However, if you want to do something about your hair loss take a look at the range of available options in the What can help section of this site.
